LICHTSPIELE SCHÄRDING
BENDING ICE was an audiovisual installation by Chris Noelle which was running three weeks during the "Lichtspiele Schärding" Festival in Schärding (Austria) at the historic main square.
The audiovisual mapping installation is a combination of 3D-Animations, growing macro ice crystals and architectural outlinetracings related to the cold winter time and with its loungy soundscape it was a perfect match to the according christmas market in the cities center.
BENDING ICE war eine audiovisuelle Mapping-Installation, die drei Wochen lang während der "Lichtspiele Schärding" in Schärding (Österreich) am historischen Hauptplatz lief.
Die audiovisuelle Mapping-Installation war eine Kombination aus 3D-Animationen, wachsenden Makro-Eiskristallen und architektonischen Umrisszeichnungen bezogen auf die kalte Winterzeit und passte mit ihrer lounge-artigen Klanglandschaft perfekt zum entsprechenden Weihnachtsmarkt in der Innenstadt.
